There
are a number of different formats, media, and methods we can
use to train your team. We recommend using a combination of
the different methods described below for the most effective
program.
Research
Because we specialize in custom-designed programs, we
need to understand your organization and your training
objectives before
we can design training sessions and materials that are
meaningful for your team. Unlike most training firms
that offer "canned" programs, we provide an environment in
which your team learns practical tools
that they can put to work immediately in their
jobs.
Typically, we
devote one or two days to research, depending upon the size of
the organization. We will interview your employees, talk with
some of your customers, observe your systems and processes
and spend some time talking with you and your management
team to fully understand your objectives. We. ll
also discuss your existing challenges and the areas where we
see your highest leverage opportunities. As a result, we. ll
target areas in your organization where our training efforts
will yield the most immediate and tangible
results.
Live Training
During
live training, we conduct thought-provoking sessions designed
to challenge and educate the participants on becoming more
effective employees. Some of the techniques we use during our
workshops to enhance the learning process include:

-Large group discussions

group brainstorming sessions: Problem-solving exercises
-Testing games that
use content from the program and turn it

We also work
individually with each of your team members and strongly
encourage you to invest immediately in a support system for
your team. This is critical to the success of your program.
We'll accompany your team members on sales and service calls
and in the front-line immediately following their time in the
classroom. Our field time will enable us to provide immediate
feedback to their application of the training and to monitor
the patterns of responses we see over time.

coaching enables us to chart our progress with your team and
to understand where the challenges lie with individuals and
with the team as a whole. We will understand more intimately
which of your systems and processes support your efforts and
which ones present obstacles to your objectives.

The Rolling
UniversityÔ
The Rolling
UniversityÔ is a customized
audio series that enables you to provide training for your
employees to turn their "windshield time" into training time.
The cassettes or CDs also provide a new medium for
communicating information to your team, such as a president's
message, new product information or customer
responses.
Your team members
will be able to learn on their own time and can repeat
the training as frequently as they choose. Team members
receive a transcript of each audiocassette or CD and a
worksheet that will help them to apply the information to
their specific situations. Since audiocassettes
are portable, your employees can make excellent use of their
commuting time. They can also utilize the cassettes for
positive reinforcement before customer calls in the
field.
You can chart you
team's progress and understanding of the material through
their responses to the worksheets. These assignments also help
you to identify individuals who may be having difficulty.
You'll be able to
train new employees immediately with this audio
program. Rather
than waiting until the next training course is provided or
until you have enough new people to justify a live training
course, your new team members will be able to train themselves
on their own time with your customized training system.
