Each year Rick Barrera and Associates chooses a few consulting and training clients with whom to work. To be effective with our training and consulting practice, we limit the number of clients we work with each year so that we can give each customer the time, resources and mindshare that is required for a successful intervention. Because we know we will only have a few training and consulting opportunities each year, we choose only those companies who are committed and passionate about making a substantial change to their business. We also require that we work directly with the CEO and the executive team and that the initiative is driven from the “top”.
Because our speeches draw us into more than 100 companies each year, we believe we can bring a broad and unique perspective to our consulting clients. Our projects have historically been very relationship driven. Because we spend so much time and energy learning about the details of our clients' people, products, services, values, culture, and work style, they often want to leverage that investment over several projects.
